What’s the difference between a bounce ball and an inflatable ball? If you’ve been to a tournament of one kind or another, you’ve probably seen at least one “bounce ball” in action. These are special games with specific rules that are played inside a normally-flooded area. Each player is given only a small amount of regulation balls (often tennis balls) and is tasked with bouncing as many of their standard-sized balls into the water supply as possible. The team who scores the most points wins the game. What’s the catch? While these games have their place, they often become very competitive affairs where teams are obsessed with getting more than their opponents.
