What is VolleyFall?

VolleyFall is a fast-paced, competitive sports game that brings the excitement of volleyball into a retro-inspired video game setting. Designed primarily for two players, VolleyBall allows players to face off in intense matches, using either a keyboard or gamepad to control their characters. The game is currently unfinished, with a single-player mode under development, but it still offers a solid multiplayer experience that challenges your reflexes and timing.

How to Play VolleyFall

 - Gameplay Mechanics:

• Objective: The primary goal in VolleyBall is to outmaneuver your opponent and score points by making the ball land on their side of the court. Use your character’s movement and jumping abilities to hit the ball over the net and defend against your opponent’s shots.
• Multiplayer Mode: Currently, VolleyBall is designed for two-player matches. Each player controls their character and competes to see who can score the most points. The game offers a fun and competitive experience as you try to outplay your opponent.

 - Controls:

Menu Navigation: Use W and S to move the cursor up and down in the menu, and press Enter/Return to select an option.

Player 1 Controls:

• Movement: Use the WASD keys to move your character around the court.
• Jump: Press the C key to make your character jump and hit the ball.

Player 2 Controls:

• Movement: Use the IJKL keys to move your character.
• Jump: Press the N key to jump and spike the ball.
• Gamepad Controls: If you’re using a gamepad, both players can use the left stick or D-pad for movement. Press Button 0 (which corresponds to X on a PS4 controller or A on an Xbox controller) to jump.

 - Development Notes:

Single-Player Mode: The single-player mode is not yet available in this version, but the developer is actively working on it. A MacOS version with single-player AI is already available for download, offering a sneak peek at the upcoming features.

  VolleyFall is shaping up to be an engaging and challenging sports game that fans of retro gaming and volleyball will enjoy. While still in development, the game already provides a solid foundation for exciting multiplayer matches.
